Recently I had the opportunity to work with Vertical Scope, Toyota, and Outdoor Auto to create this branded content for AutoGuide.com. While discussing the basics of Overlanding, we explore and show off the all new 4Runner Trailhunter Edition. We shot this video in beautiful and rugged Atlanta, ID. The perfect place to show off the capabilities of this impressive SUV.
For this shoot I built a very capable camera rig based around the Sony Burano, an absolute beast of a camera shooting 8k with 16 stops of dynamic range. I paired the camera with a set of Sigma high-speed prime cine lenses. Operating with a shoulder mount mostly we pulled focus via a Terradek and a Nucleus Follow Focus system. As we moved from location to location this system helped us work efficiently. Gimbal and car to car shots were achieved with a DJI RS3, a Tilta Alien Hydra, and a Sony FX3.
