In April of 2015, I took a backpacking trip to Grand Gulch in south eastern Utah, in a area now part of Bears Ears. It truely is an amazing place where time has stood still. Remnants of human civilization going back over a thousand years lie remarkably untouched. This area deserves all the protection it can be afforded. I only scratched the surface.
