I put this edit together for Ski Utah to kick off the 2018/19 ski season and get skiers all over excited about the coming winter. I tried to really play off of the lack luster ski season we had and show that even if last season was bad, by Utah standards, it was still really awesome.
Last ski season was a difficult one for me. Not only did we see historically low snow totals, but, I tore my ACL in December. Determined to make the most of the winter and hoping that things would turn around, I continued to ski on a busted knee (spraining it several more times in the process). This video is a reminder that no matter what is going on with the snow conditions or your life, skiing is always better than not skiing and if you are lucky enough to ski, well, you’re lucky enough. I got my knee fixed back in May and I should be ready to go for another season. Thanks to Lexi Dowdall, Dillon Green, and Blake LaCroix and while we’re at it Ski Utah, Rossignol, Eider, and Smith for making this possible. More videos are coming this fall and I’m out for redemption this season. Look out.
