Once again I had the pleasure of creating the trailer for the Wasatch Mountain Film Festival Trailer for 2021. I had 70 films to work with from great filmmakers to work with. Last years festival went online and this year’s festival was as well, but hopefully there will be in person screenings this fall. As I sat down to edit this year’s trailer, I thought I should try to make sense of what the last year has been like. The trailer works through my own mental timeline of 2020/21. Loss, sadness, dispair, and tragedy leading to hope, happiness, joy, and celebration. I hope to watch this in the theatre with a crowd soon.
